Covid-19

Seeing us under new COVID-19 guidance

Our priority is your safety and well-being. We have taken all the necessary steps to make your visit to our clinic as safe as possible for both you and us.

THINGS ARE DIFFERENT

Paperwork – All existing and new clients will need to complete some forms and consent to meeting in person. Please complete our Covid-19 Screening from here and our Face-to-Face treatment consent form here. You will be made aware of all the risks involved and the decision regarding your attendance at the clinic will be made jointly, based on several criteria being met. This will be done by telephone and/or video consultation.

Appearances – We will be wearing some PPE. You will see us in scrubs, aprons, masks, protective glasses and gloves. These will be changed regularly in accordance with PHE guidelines.
You will need to wear a face mask. Please provide your own or you may purchase one from the clinic for £2. Your insurance company will not cover the cost of your mask.

Arriving – Please remain in your car until you are called in by your therapist. The waiting room is no longer in use. Please do not wait at the door of the clinic. You will be escorted into the building to the handwashing station (please do not bring personal items with you such as big bags/coats). Car keys, mobile phones and wallets must be placed in a tub, to avoid contaminating too many surfaces.

Keeping you safe – Once you have washed your hands, we’ll take a contactless infrared temperature reading. We’ve also staggered our start/end times so that patients are not crossing over at any time. We have a strict disinfection policy and you can rest assured your therapist and all surfaces in the clinic will be decontaminated before and after every patient. We are no longer using linen or towels in our treatment rooms and the toilet facilities will be out of use. Please make sure you use the toilet at home before attending your appointment.
All patients under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult, who will also need to meet our screening criteria for attending the clinic as well as handwashing procedures, wearing a face mask, temperature screening and social distancing measures within the treatment room.

Payment – The contactless amount on our card machines has been increased to cover your treatment costs. Alternatively, you may make a BACS payment. Receipts can be emailed to you. Please ensure we have up-to-date personal information.
